Wood fired with a shino liner glaze and fired in reduction to 1300C, the piece reveals gentle tonal shifts and surface variations shaped by flame and atmosphere. Its soft, contained form reflects Elin’s careful attention to process, material, and the quiet beauty of functional objects marked by fire and time.

  • Elin is a potter based at Kigbeare Studios on the edge of Dartmoor, Devon. Working with porcelain and stoneware, she creates functional objects shaped by wood and gas firing.
