Raphaëlle Doineau is a textile artist based in Brussels, born in Paris. She studied at HEAR in Mulhouse and at ERG in Brussels. Since 2020, she has been creating hand sewn patchwork quilts that approach textile as a form of drawing.
Working intuitively with fabric, her quilts explore subtle color relationships and organic compositions, often favoring tones like purple and coral over primary colors. Through patchwork, she develops a personal language where color, shape, and touch come together in quiet and thoughtful textile pieces.
