Each piece is woven by hand on a traditional loom. Handweaving is one of the oldest textile techniques, with evidence of woven textiles dating back thousands of years. Using a loom, the maker interlaces threads by hand, building the fabric row by row and allowing the character of each yarn to remain visible in the finished piece.

Materials used: Jute and cotton, sourced from local recycling centres.
Dimensions: 47 x 31 cm, plus 4 cm fringe.

We recommend gently shaking or brushing off crumbs after use. If needed, spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For a deeper clean, hand wash gently in cold or lukewarm water.
Allow to air dry completely and store flat when not in use. The fringe can be gently straightened by hand if needed.

Orders within Spain usually arrive within 3 to 5 days, with a €15 shipping fee. Orders to the United Kingdom usually arrive within 5 to 10 days, with shipping costs ranging from €15 to €35.
For orders shipped from the UK to Spain, any import duties, taxes, or customs charges that may apply upon delivery are the responsibility of the customer. Please contact us before purchasing if you would like an estimate of these charges.
For returns, requests must be made within 14 days of delivery.
ABOUT THE CRAFTER
Natália Otrubová is a maker based in Finland, originally from Bratislava. With a background in product and industrial design, her practice has gradually moved towards textiles, particularly weaving, where she explores the relationship between material, function, and the handmade process.
Her work centres around natural and reclaimed materials, allowing their qualities and limitations to guide the development of each piece. She creates handwoven textiles, coasters, bags, and other functional objects, often working in small quantities and with a strong consideration for material use and longevity.
Her practice is informed by traditional textile knowledge and the value of careful, dedicated labour. Through weaving, Natália explores how objects can carry knowledge between generations while offering a more thoughtful approach to making and material use.
