Lena Huber is a German textile artist and natural dyer based near Mainz. Her practice, shaped by an intuitive connection to nature and traditional craft, explores color, texture, and material to reveal subtle stories within the landscape. Utilizing experimental approaches alongside time-honored dyeing techniques, she transforms recycled and vintage textiles into pieces that act as quiet reflections of place, season, and process. Her work prioritizes the journey of making over the final outcome, using layered, plant-based colors and textures to evoke depth, complexity, and the quiet beauty found in everyday materials.
