ABOUT THE CRAFTER
Emily Rose Sinclair is a self taught potter based in South London and the founder of Studio ERS. Her practice combines handbuilding and wheel throwing, with a particular focus on objects connected to two of her great loves: food and flowers. Her collection includes vases, plates, platters, and snack dishes, each designed with a balance of function and form.
Emily’s making process often begins with a simple doodle on a scrap of paper before taking shape in her studio. Working in small batches, she intentionally limits production and offers pre orders for pieces that are out of stock. This allows her to make with greater consideration, creating work with a known home while being mindful of the natural resources and energy involved in ceramics.
From her South London studio, Emily continues to develop her practice through a combination of experimentation, drawing, and making, creating pieces that bring together her interest in ceramics, food, and flowers.
