Handcrafted in the UK by Caitlin Hinshelwood, the Freedom Blanket is a hand screen-printed and embroidered piece that can be used as a blanket or wall hanging. Using the kite as a symbol of freedom, silk patches—hand-dyed, printed, and appliquéd onto thick dark grey wool—are framed with multicoloured linen edging and finished with hand-embroidered motifs and wool felt details.

ABOUT THE CRAFTER

Caitlin Hinshelwood is a London-based artist and designer known for her distinctive collections of hand-worked, printed, and stitched textiles. Blending illustration, colour, and craft, her work carries a vivid sense of character and presence.
