Tapestry
Isabel Ríos · Barcelona
Isabel Ríos is a Bolivian textile artist and art therapist based in Barcelona. Her practice is shaped by a path that moves through graphic design and fashion in Brussels and Paris, before turning toward a slower, more grounded way of working with the hand.
Although her connection to textiles emerged later, it quickly became central to her way of creating. She began weaving in 2019, drawn to the rhythm of repetition and the quiet presence of natural fibers. Through this process, she developed an intuitive language rooted in gesture, patience, and attention, while reconnecting with her Bolivian heritage, where textiles carry memory, knowledge, and identity.
Alongside her textile practice, she works in art therapy, guiding others through processes of expression and transformation. For her, making is a space for listening, where threads hold what cannot always be said. Each piece reflects an ongoing dialogue between body, material, and lived experience.

Handmade in Lisbon by Tatiana Ferreira, this wall panel is part of the Earth Shapes collection—a limited edition of handcrafted tile panels presented by Pareidólia. Crafted in red clay, the piece explores unique composition, depth, and dimension through a rich textural expression. Inspired by the phenomenon of pareidolia, where the mind perceives meaningful forms within abstract stimuli, each panel develops its own peculiar design and visual character. The organic surfaces and rhythmic variations in the clay allow the material to take a prominent place, inviting the viewer to discover a distinct and quiet language within the work.
