THE CRAFT ROOM
Design and Run Your First Creative Workshop
APPLY
Over five weeks, in a small group of three, you'll move from an early idea to a fully planned workshop, ready to deliver. Each session brings discussion, practical exercises, and feedback shaped around your own work.
Applications are open for the first cohort. Only three places are available.
The Craft Room
A five week online programme for artists, designers, and makers who want to build a workshop rooted in their own creative practice.
The idea is simple. A creative practice isn't only expressed through the objects we make. It can also be shared — through experiences that invite others into how we think, make, and see.
Many makers reach a point where they want to share more than the finished piece.
A workshop opens a different kind of sharing — one where technique, story, and process can be experienced directly, not just seen.
But designing a workshop is its own practice, with its own questions. How do you turn years of experience into something someone else can take part in? How do you build something generous and engaging, without losing what makes your work yours?
This programme gives you the structure and the company to work through those questions properly, rather than figuring it out alone.
Who this programme is forThe programme is designed for artists, designers, and makers with an established creative practice who would like to begin offering workshops, or who already run workshops and want to develop a stronger, more structured format using design thinking principles.

What you'll work on
Across five weeks, together with Alice, we follow the full process of building a workshop, from the first idea to a format ready to deliver.
Together, we’ll define its purpose, shape its structure, explore the practical details, and develop the experience from the perspective of the people taking part. By the end, you’ll have a considered workshop rooted in your own practice and ready to put in front of people.
