● Weaving · Berlin

In this summer retreat, craft sets the pace of the day. Whether a complete beginner or someone with previous weaving experience, this retreat welcomes anyone looking for a quieter way of learning and making within the city. Over eight days, participants immerse themselves in the weaving process and tune into the rhythm of the loom.

Hosted in Studio JUMI’s professionally equipped weaving studio, participants learn the foundations of weaving on a four shaft pattern loom while deepening their understanding of handwoven textiles through hands on practice. Guided through the process of setting up a loom and weaving their own colourful towels, participants are introduced to different weaving structures and patterns through making.
