KASHGAR — An evening at the studio
Ceramic artist Miriam Cernuda opens her El Born studio for the presentation of KASHGAR, her new collection of functional and sculptural pieces. The work continues her research into territories, cultures and materials, and how meetings between places and traditions can take new form in clay.
The evening also introduces a collaboration with Japanese textile artist Yuna Kono, bringing ceramics and textiles together around the table. It marks a new chapter for the studio, which is now presented under Miriam’s own name after ten years in Barcelona.
