A creative practice can be shared in
more ways than one.
Creative practice is not only expressed through the objects we make. It can also be shared through experiences that invite others into our ways of thinking, making, and seeing.
THE PROGRAMMEMany makers reach a point where they want to share more than finished work.
A workshop offers another way of sharing a creative practice. It allows knowledge, techniques, stories, and ways of working to be experienced directly.
Five weeks. One workshop.
Developed from your own practice.
How it works
2. Share the experience
Develop the structure, consider the practical details, and create a workshop that feels true to your practice.
3. Prepare to deliver
Bring everything together into a complete workshop ready to deliver.
1. Develop the idea
Define what you want to share and what you want participants to experience.
WHO IT IS FOR
For artists, designers and makers with an established creative practice who would like to begin running workshops.
Participants may have demonstrated their work, hosted informal sessions, or thought about teaching for some time, but have not yet developed a workshop they feel ready to offer publicly.
By the end of five weeks
You will have developed a workshop that reflects your own practice and is ready to deliver.
