From her studio in Lisbon, multifaceted artist Kylie Marie has developed a collection of selection trays, plates, serving dishes, spoons, and cooking sets, all crafted from wood with care and precision. Her practice emphasizes hands-on techniques and a thoughtful approach to material, blending functionality with expressive form.
This selection reflects a balance between tradition and experimentation, shaped by a deep connection to her upbringing and her family’s craft. Each piece embodies both use and presence, offering a way to engage deliberately with the objects we hold, the meals we prepare, and the spaces we inhabit.

"I believe the biggest potential lies in preserving and passing on the traditional ways of working—especially the hands-on knowledge that only comes through experience. Machines can replicate forms, but they lack the depth, intention, and soul that comes from working with your hands. When you're building something like a solid wood cabinet, it’s not just about assembling parts. You need to know how to use tools like hand planes, chisels, scrapers, tools that require a real understanding of the material.
